Our owner has a financial interest in the following companies. Any page that mentions one of them shows a disclosure box automatically.
- Glide Identity (Glide.id), which sells carrier- and SIM-based authentication intended to replace SMS one-time passcodes.
This matters because several answers on Cleartext concern SMS OTP and its alternatives, a market in which Glide Identity competes. We apply the same sourcing and verification rules to those answers as to every other, and we don’t let any company review or approve an answer before publication.
