How Cleartext would label and separate paid or commercial content from its answers.

Cleartext does not currently publish sponsored or paid content.
If it does in future:
- Commercial pages carry a “Commercial content” label above the title and in their structured data, and are excluded from the answer index.
- Links in commercial content carry
rel="sponsored". - Sponsors never see, review or influence an answer before publication, and paying doesn’t change a comparison verdict.
- Any page that mentions a company our owner has a financial interest in shows a disclosure, whether or not it is commercial. See ownership and funding.
